Metasequoia (Dawn Redwood) bonsai tree. They grow well in full sun put will need protecting during the warmest months. Place in partial shade at these times. Keep soil moist and feed well with one of our outdoor slow release bonsai feeds during the growing season. Protection from harsh frosts is recommended. Prune regularly to build up a nice twiggy branch structure. These trees can fill a pot with roots in a season so it's important to check the roots every year and repot as necessary.
